Tactical Gear Lines First Machine - Consew 1

"This was a big step for me, I never had a sewing machine in my life. More importantly, I had never sewn anything prior to those first days".

-Dereck Arreguin

First Gun Show & Proof of Concept

At our first gun show, we had some amazing results and great response from the community proving that not only would people purchase a new design, but do so when our product easily out priced slings all around us, sometimes up to four times the price.

First Shot Show

Possibly one of the most memorable moments during our first Shot Show (besides managing to get lost on the main floor numerous times) was the after parties. Standing next to me is Ben Thomas, AKA Mookie - Mookie Militia.

2/25/16

First Three Colors

The red was initially just a test roll of fabric used to make final adjustments to the design. There was no way I could have first imagined that people would actually like it.

3/31/16

First Set of Tags

Our first branding tags arrive!

4/21/16

Early Production Run

Learning to sew was one thing, doing it hundreds of times over and over again was another.

4/24/16

The Key: Prep Work

Even to this day, prep work is the key to success. It's all in the prep, even now more than ever.

8/20/16

Changing The Game

While adding more and more gun shows, we finally move from displaying our slings on a vertical rack, and we find traction. People responded better to seeing and feeling the products in an orderly fashion.

10/1/16

New Machine - Box-X 1

Only a year later and the demand is still growing. The challenge, find a way to have more consistency with the final product while reducing the time needed for each one.

It may look a little "Steam Punk", but it works like a champ!

10/11/16

New Tags, Better Design

After the successful run of our first batch of products, we changed up the design more a more handsome and striking appeal.

2/27/17

Rare Colors Get Introduced

Expanding our color line shouldn't have been a major priority. But things were tough and the gun show circuit in California was at a crawls pace.

8/6/17

A More Professional Look

With the New Year came the new design. New design on our displays and gun shows, and new products to offer. We quickly learned, people don't like change as much as we hoped...

9/1/2017

Retail Packaging

Our first attempt at retail packaging was a success! It came with good response and helped show how to install the sling and focused on the modern simplistic attributes of our flagship product.

9/23/17

Our First Belts

At one of our better performing shows (Cow Palace), we decide to release as a test our first run of belts.

1/31/18

Belt Production Ramps Up

Only months later, belts are quickly taking over the shop.

5/15/18

Kydex Finally!!!

Believe it or not, this whole process of creating products was with the intent of building Kydex products first. The problem was, too many pistol models, light combos, inconsistency and other issues. Now, we can produce Kydex products with consistency with only bigger and better things around the corner.

5/17/18

Cobra Buckles

Even when we've had the ability to use Cobra Buckles for all of our belts, we rarely offered them in large. This was the start of not only doing so, but also custom belts as well.

5/25/18

Kydex Production Ramps Up!

Kydex production takes a whole new turn as we look to get ahead of the upcoming seasonal run.

5/31/18

Double Magazine Carriers

While we've had the ability and have done runs of these in the past, now was the time were we started making them more available.

6/5/18

Key Keepers

After a first initial experimental run of these at the end of 2017, we decided to bring back the key keepers for the long haul. Thank you for all the requests to do so from our loyal fan base.

7/7/18

Kydex Ramps Up Again

With the kick off of the busy season only weeks away, we start to make preparations ahead of time to lessen the workload for the much anticipated end of the year run.

7/12/18

Shirts & New Design

We're not an apparel company, but offering quality products with style and good taste is always a priority.
