Description
M-LOK Sling Mount — Magpul Paraclip Sling Attachment
This is the genuine Magpul M-LOK Paraclip Sling Mount — a low-profile M-LOK sling mount that bolts to any M-LOK slot on your handguard or forend and gives you a clip-in sling attachment point right where you want it. Run it up front on your rail, clip your sling in, and you’ve got a clean forward mount that stays out of your optic and doesn’t snag on your gear. It installs in a couple of minutes with simple tools and comes with all the mounting hardware.
It’s precision cast steel with a QPQ salt bath nitride finish, so it shrugs off wear and corrosion, and at about an ounce with hardware it adds almost nothing to the rifle. The mount is angled on purpose — it keeps your sling clear of the action, the optic, and the controls, and the slim profile means it won’t catch on your gear or dig into you when the rifle’s slung.
What clips into it — and why you might not need the Magpul Paraclip
The M-LOK mount gives you a bar that clip-in attachments hook onto. The obvious one is Magpul’s own Paraclip, but here’s what a lot of people don’t realize: a standard HK-style hook clips into this mount just as well. Our Bondo Convertible Sling runs an HK-style hook at the front, so it snaps right into this mount with nothing extra to buy. That’s exactly why we stock the clip-in mounts like this one and the RSA rail version instead of pushing everyone toward QD — an HK hook is cheaper, more universal, and works across all of them.
Paraclip vs. HK hook — which should you run?
Both clip into this mount, so it comes down to preference. The Magpul Paraclip is a purpose-built clip with a spring gate — clean, quick, and made to match this mount. An HK-style hook is the simpler, more universal option: it’s cheaper, it clips into this mount, the RSA rail mount, and just about any loop or attachment point out there, and it’s what our slings already use. If you’re building around our Bondo sling or you want one attachment style that works everywhere, the HK hook is the move. If you specifically want Magpul’s clip, the Paraclip drops right in. You don’t need both — pick the clip that matches your sling.
M-LOK, not Picatinny
This is the M-LOK version — it mounts into an M-LOK slot on a handguard. If your rail is a 1913 Picatinny rail instead, you want our Picatinny sling mount (Magpul RSA) — same idea, different interface. And if you’re looking to add a sling point at the rear of the receiver, that’s our QD end plate. Match the mount to what your rifle actually has.

M-LOK Sling Mount FAQ
What does the M-LOK Paraclip sling mount do?
It bolts into an M-LOK slot on your handguard and gives you a clip-in sling attachment point up front. Clip your sling’s attachment into it and you’ve got a forward sling mount on an M-LOK rifle.
What does it fit?
Any standard M-LOK slot on an M-LOK-compatible handguard or forend. It installs with simple tools and includes all the mounting hardware.
Do I need the Magpul Paraclip to use it, or will an HK hook work?
An HK-style hook works with this mount, so you don’t have to buy the Magpul Paraclip. Our HK-style clip and our Bondo Convertible Sling both use HK-style hooks that clip right in. The Magpul Paraclip also works if that’s what you prefer.
Paraclip vs. HK hook — which should I run?
Both clip into this mount. The Paraclip is Magpul’s purpose-built clip with a spring gate. An HK-style hook is simpler, cheaper, and more universal — it works on this mount, our RSA rail mount, and most other attachment points, and it’s what our slings already use. Pick the clip that matches your sling; you don’t need both.
Will it get in the way of my optic or handguard?
No. The mount is angled and low-profile by design, so it keeps the sling clear of your optic, the action, and the controls, and it won’t snag on your gear.
M-LOK or Picatinny — which sling mount do I need?
This is the M-LOK version, for an M-LOK slot on a handguard. If your rail is a 1913 Picatinny rail, you want our Picatinny sling mount (the Magpul RSA) instead. Match the mount to the interface your rifle has.
Does it work with a QD swivel?
No. This is a clip-in mount, not a QD socket. If you want push-button quick-detach, look at our QD end plate or QD sling mount. This mount is for clip-in style slings using a Paraclip or HK-style hook.
Is it a genuine Magpul part made in the USA, and what’s the warranty?
Yes — it’s a genuine Magpul M-LOK Paraclip Sling Mount (MAG607), made in the USA. It carries Magpul’s warranty, and we back it with ours too. If one fails, we make it right.
