Description

BCM QD End Plate — AR15 QD Receiver Sling Mount

This is the genuine BCM QD End Plate — a steel AR15 receiver end plate with a built-in QD socket that gives you a solid rear sling attachment point right at the back of the receiver. It replaces the plain end plate your rifle came with, so instead of a flat piece of metal doing nothing but holding the castle nut, you get a clean, mil-spec-simple place to snap in a QD sling. Machined from steel, made in the USA, and built to be staked for a permanent hold.

It does one job and does it right. The socket receives a standard push-button QD swivel — plug the swivel into the plate and your sling clicks on and off the rear of the rifle in a second. If you don’t have the swivel yet, you’ll need one: grab our QD sling attachment point to go with it. The plate is the socket; the swivel is the plug. Together they’re a complete rear QD sling setup.

Why a QD end plate

A rear sling point at the receiver end plate sits your attachment close to the grip, which is where a lot of shooters want it — it keeps a single-point sling tight to the body and gives a two-point sling a clean rear anchor. Because the QD socket lets the swivel rotate, the sling isn’t fighting you when you transition shoulders or move. It’s the simplest way to add a real, removable rear sling point to an AR without adding bulky hardware.

Install

It swaps in where your current end plate lives — pull the castle nut, drop the standard end plate, seat the BCM plate on the buffer tube, and re-torque the castle nut. It fits standard AR15 and M4 carbine buffer tubes. The plate accommodates staking, so once the castle nut is properly torqued you can stake it for a permanent, back-out-proof install. It’s a job most people do at the bench in a few minutes; if you’re not comfortable staking, a competent armorer will knock it out fast.

BCM quality, and we back it

Bravo Company makes some of the most trusted AR parts in the business, and this end plate is genuine BCM — steel, made in the USA, the same part running on hard-use rifles everywhere. We don’t machine it ourselves, but we stand behind it with our warranty. If one ever fails, we make it right.

AR15 QD End Plate FAQ

What does a QD end plate do?

It replaces the plain end plate at the rear of your AR15 receiver with one that has a QD socket built in, giving you a rear sling attachment point. Snap a QD swivel into the socket and your sling clicks on and off the back of the rifle.

Does it fit my AR15?

It fits standard AR15 and M4 carbine buffer tubes — the same place your current end plate sits. It replaces the standard end plate between the buffer tube and castle nut.

Do I need a QD swivel too?

Yes. The end plate is the socket; you also need a push-button QD swivel to plug into it and attach your sling. Our QD sling attachment point is the matching swivel — the plate and the swivel together make the complete rear QD setup.

Is staking required?

No, but it’s recommended for a hard-use rifle. When the castle nut is properly torqued the plate holds fine. The plate accommodates staking if you want a permanent, back-out-proof install — a job for you at the bench or a competent armorer.

Is this a genuine BCM part made in the USA?

Yes. It’s a genuine Bravo Company QD End Plate, machined from steel and made in the USA.

Will it work with a single-point or two-point sling?

Both. The rear QD point works with a single-point sling for a tight, close-to-body carry, or as the rear anchor for a two-point sling. Any sling running a push-button QD swivel clicks right in.

What’s the warranty?

It’s a genuine BCM part backed by Bravo Company, and we back it with our warranty too. If one fails, we make it right.
